The Town of Perinton Department of Public Works is led by the Commissioner of Public Works and is comprised of the following departments: Animal Control, Code Enforcement & Development (CED), Engineering, Highway, and Sewer. The Commissioner of Public Works is also designated as the Local Floodplain Administrator and the Contact Person for Perinton’s Stormwater Management Program Plan.
This Department is responsible for maintaining Perinton’s public infrastructure, including a diverse network of residential streets and rural roads as well as sidewalks, a sanitary sewer collection system, a storm sewer system, a stormwater management program plan, and a geographic information system (GIS). The Public Works Department is also responsible for the planning and execution of capital improvement projects that preserve our infrastructure and improve our community by enhancing the quality of life for residents and businesses within the Town of Perinton.
