March 9, 2017
Good afternoon! March Madness is here! Yes, the basketball variety is in full swing, but we are putting a new twist on the term “March Madness.” Employees at the Town of Perinton are asking the community to help them donate food to the needy in our town by filling up Town Supervisor Mike Barker’s office with donations for the Perinton Food Shelf. Our March Madness food drive will continue through the month of March.
The supplies needed most by the Food Shelf are as follows:
Coffee, fruit cups, cookies, cereal, jello, pudding, pancake syrup, cake mixed, salad dressings, cooking oil, potato mixes, jelly, ketchup, mustard, sloppy joe mix, beef stew, chili, hash, mayonnaise, paper towels, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo and soap.
Donations can be brought to the Perinton Town Hall, 1350 Turk Hill Road during business hours, which are 9 A.M. until 5 P.M., Monday through Friday. They can also be dropped off at the Perinton Community Center during business hours, which are 6 A.M. until 10 P.M. Thank you in advance for your help!
For more information or if you have any questions, please feel free to call the Perinton Town Hall at 223-0770 and ask for Barb Clay.
