Monroe County Home Improvement Program

Monroe County. through the Department of Planning and Development, Community Development Division, administers the Home Improvement Program (HIP) utilizing funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Each year, through these funds, Monroe County is able to assist income eligible homeowners repair and revitalize their homes. In 2016 Monroe County provided assistance to 58 homeowners throughout the suburban towns and villages in Monroe County totaling $856,216. These projects allow property owners the ability to maintain the value of their property and help stabilize the community. Brochures are available at Perinton Town Hall.
