Center Park West Playground
A new 4,000 sq. ft. music-themed playground is coming to Center Park West with accessible elements! Slated to open in early summer 2025, the new playground will be relocated closer to the parking lot, picnic shelter, and restrooms. The 23-year old current playground will remain open during construction.
Lollypop Farm Multi-Phase Expansion
A multi-phase project is underway, including a new main entrance and learning center, clinic addition, maintenance barn, and expanded pastures with a walking trail near Egypt Park. Additionally, an intake facility on the east side of Victor Road will provide a dedicated space for receiving and treating animals, featuring a large barn and pastures. Site work is currently in progress.
Backwoods by Kettle Ridge
A scenic 30-acre maple farm on Route 31 in the hamlet of Egypt will be opening to the public with a shipping container bar, outdoor grill, coffee & ice cream trailer, live music, natural play spaces, recreational trails, and a farmers market.

Penfield's Channing Philbrick Park Trail Closed (connecting to Spring Lake Trail)
Effective Monday, January 27, a portion of the trail system in Penfield’s Philbrick Park is closed as work begins to replace the existing wooden footbridges bordering Irondequoit Creek. The closure will impact most of the Philbrick trail and temporarily block the trail connection between the Town of Penfield and the Town of Perinton. Learn more.
Aldrich Road Improvements
Aldrich Road is a 1-mile-long Monroe County-owned highway located between Ayrault Road and NYS Rt 31. The scope of work includes: a new sidewalk, culvert replacement, shoulder widening, and paving maintenance along the length of Aldrich Road this summer.

2021 Comprehensive Plan Update
The Town has adopted a new 10-year Comprehensive Plan. Perinton has updated its Comprehensive Plan every decade since 1959. The 2021 update considers evolving trends in the Town over the last 10 years and develops strategies to set the direction of the community’s growth and development into 2030.
