The Perinton Aquatic Center will undergo a significant resurfacing project starting at noon on Friday, August 23, 2024, and continuing through Tuesday, September 24, 2024. This maintenance work, typically performed every 10-15 years, is essential to preserve the structure of our pools and ensure their longevity.
What to Expect:
- Project Duration: August 23rd – September 24th
- Project Scope: Complete resurfacing, resulting in a new plaster pool finish
- Next Steps:
- Starting 9/3, we’ll be using hydroblasting (a high-pressure washing technique) to remove the remaining plaster from the pool surfaces.
- This work will happen during business hours and should take approximately 3-4 days.
