Ayrault Road Sanitary Sewer Improvements
The Town will soon begin work installing a new 15” gravity sewer between Ayrault Rd and Pebble Hill Rd within the RS&E Trail corridor. This will allow the elimination of a high maintenance 50 year old pump station and 4,000 LF of aging forcemain. This project will significantly improve resiliency of the Perinton Consolidated Sewer District infrastructure.

Construction on the Town's Ayrault Road Gravity Sewer Project began in May 2023. As of 12/11/23, the entire RS&E Trai is now OPEN.
This significant sewer improvement project not only enhanced our town’s infrastructure resilience but also protected the adjacent wetlands and better served nearly 1,000 surrounding homes.
Town, County and State Road Work Projects
The Highway Department maintains 326 lane miles of town roads that are kept in safe working order. Through routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and capital improvements the Town continues to invest for the future of quality roads throughout Perinton.
2021 Comprehensive Plan Update
The Town has adopted a new 10-year Comprehensive Plan. Perinton has updated its Comprehensive Plan every decade since 1959. The 2021 update considers evolving trends in the Town over the last 10 years and develops strategies to set the direction of the community’s growth and development into 2030.
