Appointments are required for the Household Hazardous Waste Collection only. Book online, starting mid-April, at: www.monroecounty.gov/ecopark

Each year, the Town of Perinton hosts a Drive-Thru Community Recycling Day featuring FREE electronics recycling and document shredding for residents, as well as a household hazardous waste collection in partnership with Monroe County. Please note that curbside recycling materials will not be accepted at this event; instead, please dispose of that material in your regular weekly curbside collection.
This event will return on May 17, 2025. Residents can also recycle Household Hazardous Waste year-round by making an appointment at the Monroe County Ecopark. Check out local PaintCare drop-off sites to properly dispose of house paint as well as primers, stains, sealers, and clear coatings such as shellac and varnish. Visit www.paintcare.org for more information.
By offering these collections, we are bringing essential services close to home while encouraging residents to recycle items that are often difficult to dispose of properly.
If you have any questions, please contact Perinton Public Works at (585) 223-5115.
