All submissions will be reviewed for completeness by Town staff to determine if it may be placed on an agenda. All submissions will be placed on the agenda in the order received if they are deemed to be complete. If there are no submissions, the meeting will be canceled. Placed items and new items are scheduled in accordance with the schedule.
Conservation Board meetings are workshop meeting that are open to the public and are conducted in a more informal manner than the public hearing format of the Planning Board, Town Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals.
The Conservation Board serves in an advisory capacity, primarily providing recommendations to the Planning Board on whether applications will have a significant environmental impact in accordance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). The Conservation Board also comments to the Town Board and Zoning Board of Appeals on matters pertaining to environmental issues within the Town.
Meeting location: Town Hall Board room – 1350 Turk Hill Road. The parking lot entrance has a sign that states Town Court and Town meetings. Please enter the building by using the middle set of double doors, which are to the left of the flag pole.
