CONSERVATION BOARD WORKSHOP MEETING SCHEDULE 2020
SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME
Please contact Conservation Board Liaison Lori Stid @223-0770 to verify accuracy of schedule and to determine if a meeting is being held.
Conservation Board Workshop meetings are generally held on Tuesday before the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month @ 7:30 PM, in the Town Hall Board Room except as otherwise noted below.* These workshop meetings are open to the public and are conducted in a more informal manner than the public hearing format of the Planning Board, Town Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals.
The Conservation Board serves in an advisory capacity, primarily providing recommendations to the Planning Board on whether applications will have a significant environmental impact in accordance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). The Conservation Board also comments to the Town Board and Zoning Board of Appeals on matters pertaining to environmental issues within the Town.
The Conservation Board meeting is a workshop public meeting; not a public hearing.
Meeting location: Town Hall Board room – 1350 Turk Hill Road. The parking lot entrance has a sign that states Town Court and Town meetings. Please enter the building by using the middle set of double doors, which are to the left of the flag pole.
