Our annual Fall Leaf Collection program has started! Based on current volumes, Public Works crews are currently moving quickly throughout the Town; however, in the coming weeks and during the peak of collection season, it can take up to six weeks to collect leaves from all 17,000 residential properties. We typically complete 6 rounds of leaf collection throughout Town from October through mid-December and again in the springtime.
As you place your leaves curbside, please remember these important tips:
Leaf piles should only contain leaves – do not mix leaves with any other yard waste like sticks, garden material or pumpkins.
𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘀 (𝟱𝟬 𝗹𝗯𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀) and separate from all other yard waste. We do not accept any bagged material.
Due to safety concerns, please do not pile leaves in the street or around fire hydrants.
Check out our Leaf Collection Map on www.perinton.org once the peak collection season arrives.
