Residential Refuse Collection Update: Extended Collection Schedule (July 2021)

July 8, 2021

Our Highway crews are working daily to collect all of the tree debris placed curbside after the rain & wind event of Monday, June 21st. While large piles are typically picked up within one to three weeks, this storm created a significant amount of tree debris throughout Town, resulting in an extended pick-up time of four to six weeks. Our crews are focused on this collection effort, but due to the larger than normal volumes, extra time, equipment, and staff are needed. We appreciate everyone’s patience, and we assure you that all debris piles will be collected.  However, it will take more time than usual for our crews to get to everyone.

Please note, your regular weekly collection schedule will continue as normal, and crews will pick up containerized debris each week. For more information, visit: perinton.org/departments/public-works/highway/residential-refuse-yard-debris-recycling-program/.
