Town Supervisor Ciaran Hanna presented the Proposed 2022 Perinton Town Budget at the October 13, 2021, Town Board meeting. The proposed 2022 Town Budget provides a stable tax rate for Town residents at $2.34, the third-lowest town tax rate in all of Monroe County.
“It is vital we provide our residents with a stable and balanced budget as the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to affect household budgets,” said Hanna. “I am proud to submit a 2022 Budget that continues to fund all of the Town services that provide our residents with a high quality of life while also investing more in our Recreation and Parks as we reimagine and retool those departments which have seen exponential growth in use since the pandemic. Each year, we remain committed to implementing forward-thinking budget practices, cost-saving measures, and operational efficiencies to produce a budget that lives within its means and delivers a high quality of life for Perinton residents.”
