Appointments Available for the September 28, 2024 Event
Town Clerk Janelle Reed announced that the Town Clerk’s Office will host a free shredding event for Perinton residents this fall. The drive-thru event will take place at Perinton’s Department of Public Works, located at 100 Cobb’s Lane, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Appointments for the free shredding event can be scheduled online.
“I often hear from community members about the importance of having a secure way to dispose of sensitive and confidential documents,” said Reed.“By offering a free shredding event, my office is hoping to bring this service closer to home in a secure way. Our Town Clerk’s Office is always here to assist you – please stop by or contact us if we can be of service.”
The Town Clerk’s Office is working with Shred-Text, a certified and licensed document destruction company. They will be on-site to accept up to 4-5 boxes of paper per vehicle. All documents will be shredded on location, and there is no need to remove staples/paperclips.
