Bringing Together Experts and Community Members for a Day of Learning, Networking, and Certification Opportunities
The Town of Perinton is proud to introduce the Safety, Wellness, and Recreation (SWR) Conference, a first-of-its-kind event designed to provide affordable and accessible training for professionals and community members whose work aligns with safety, wellness, and recreation. This all-day conference, hosted by Perinton Recreation and Parks, will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025, and will feature expert speakers, networking opportunities, and certification courses.
“In Perinton, we believe that investing in education and training strengthens both our employees and the services we provide to the community,” said Perinton Town Supervisor Ciaran Hanna. “The SWR Conference is a fantastic opportunity for anyone, from Perinton or beyond, to gain valuable skills, learn from experts, and connect with others passionate about safety, wellness, and recreation. I encourage all who are interested in these critical areas to join us for a day of professional development that will contribute to stronger, healthier communities. My thanks to our hardworking recreation staff for organizing this inaugural event.”
