During the winter, please set your garbage and recycling bins 5-6 feet off the edge of the pavement and into your driveway. Bins placed too close to the road will be in the way of snowplows or snow being pushed aside from plows going by. Please do not place your bins or toter on top of snow piles, in the road, or on sidewalks as this may cause your garbage can to tip over and litter your street.

By adhering to these guidelines you can help make your garbage/recycling collection day safer and easier for snowplow and garbage truck operators. Thank you!
