55+ Curbside Lunches 

Curbside lunches started in June 2020 when the Town – with the 55+ lounge and 1350 Cafe closed due to COVID-19 – needed a way to get seniors a lunch at an affordable price yet stay safe. Chef Preston Bennett’s meals rapidly grew into one of the biggest successes in Town during the COVID-19 pandemic. In December, we passed 10,000 Curbside Lunches served. In June, we were averaging just under 61 lunches per day. In January, we are averaging almost 118 per day!

Chef Preston’s menu next week is delectable!  Braised Beef Tips, French Onion Chicken, Herbed Lemon Pork Chops, and Classic Sloppy Joe’s are all comfort food favorites. Chef is bringing back soups and chilis for the cooler months. We are offering his award winning (not spicy version) beef chili with two different options; homemade cornbread or a Peanut Butter Sammie (sounds different till you try it!)  Chili is available all four days. Add this on to your meal or purchase solo. Purchase lunch all four days at a discount!

A friendly reminder to please order your lunch by Friday for the following week.  We base our food purchases on registrations received by then. The more notice we have, the more people we can plan for!

Dining on the Deck is in full swing for those purchasing Curbside Lunches.  Those purchasing lunch will be allowed to pick up their lunch in the loop in front of the Perinton Community Center, park in the North Parking Lot and walk down the stairs near the building to the tent-covered deck outside the exercise rooms.  We provide silverware, napkins and water so that you can visit old friends and make new ones as you enjoy your lunch. The back patio will be open after lunch pickup begins at 11:45 a.m.  Seating, which is about 30 people, is first-come, first-served.

Pickup times are 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m., 12:15-12:45 p.m. Prices vary by lunch. *Non-residents add $1 each meal. Registration required by calling (585) 223-1617 or via Webtrac:
