This Memorial Day, our community will once again pause to honor the men and women who laid down their lives in defense of the freedoms and liberties that define our nation. 
On Monday, May 30th, VFW Post 8495 will host our community’s annual Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Ceremony. The parade will begin at 10AM at the Fairport Baptist Home, travel through the Village, and end at Potter Park. Following the parade, you are encouraged to attend the Memorial Ceremony at the Potter Park Veterans Memorial. This is a time when our community can come together to honor, remember, and reflect upon the ultimate sacrifice that has been paid by more than 1.3 million men and women.
