Town Supervisor Ciaran Hanna has released the 2023 Perinton Flu Shot Clinic schedule in collaboration with program partner Wellness Programs with Value (WPV). The Flu Clinic will be located at the Perinton Community Center, 1350 Turk Hill Road, Fairport, NY 14450.
“Staying up-to-date on vaccinations is one of the most important steps anyone can take to protect their health and the health of their family,” said Hanna. “I hope our residents, especially those at high risk, will take advantage of the Perinton Flu Clinic and be well-prepared for the upcoming flu season. Thank you to our partner, Wellness Programs with Value, for administering this vital service to our residents.”
The Perinton Flu Clinic is open to the public, and walk-ins are welcome. Those seeking a shot must be 18 or older and need to bring photo ID and proof of insurance.
Several vaccine options will be available, including a High Dose Senior Vaccine for those over 65. FluBlock, a preservative-free, egg-free, quadrivalent dose with higher antigen levels will be available to those 18 and older, however, it has proven to be most effective for those 50-64 years old. Wellness Programs with Value will administer free immunizations to those insured and charge $45 for those without insurance.
