On September 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, mark your calendars because the Town will be delivering FREE wood mulch and compost in bulk to the North parking lot of the Perinton Community Center. It’s a fantastic opportunity to stock up on this valuable garden resource!
This give-back program is a part of our ongoing yard waste recycling initiative. All the tree, leaf, and brush debris collected weekly by our hardworking Perinton highway crews is ground/mulched by Waste Management for reuse. By making this material available to you, we’re not only saving landfill space but also providing a valuable commodity for our residents.
The wood mulch and compost offered through this program are exclusively for Town of Perinton residents. We kindly ask commercial contractors to refrain from removing material from the distribution point.
