Our Fall Wood Mulch Give Back Program will start September 10! Each Friday in September, the Town will deliver free wood mulch in bulk for Town residents to collect. Only wood mulch, and not compost, will be available this fall due to limited supplies.
This give back program is made available as part of our ongoing yard waste recycling program. All tree, leaf and brush debris collected weekly by Perinton highway crews is ground/mulched by Waste Management for reuse. Making this material available for reuse saves landfill space and provides a valuable commodity for residents.
Wood mulch made available through this program is intended for Town of Perinton residents only. Commercial contractors are asked to refrain from removing material from the distribution points.
