The Town and County Tax cycle is unfortunately coming during a spike in COVID-19 cases. With traffic likely to be high in Town Hall, Town Clerk Jennifer West asks that residents use caution and be safe for both yourself, your fellow residents and Town employees. There are many contactless ways to pay:

🔘 By check only in the Town Tax Drop Box located out front of the Town Hall. Adhering to all tax due dates and interest schedules. The box is checked daily.

🔘 By credit card online at www.monroecounty.gov – A fee equaling 2.75% of the total amount paid for any transactions greater than $100 will be charged by the credit card company when paying by credit or debit. Payments of $100 or less will be charged $2.75.

🔘 By electronic check online at www.monroecounty.gov. A sliding scale fee is charged based on the amount of payment.

🔘 If you must pay your taxes in person, you can pay via cash or check at the Town Hall Tax Office from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. State mandates require that you wear a mask and keep 6 feet apart whenever possible. If you don’t have a mask, the Town can provide one at the front desk.
