Rabies Clinics

Town of Perinton & Monroe County Rabies Clinic

Our 2024 Free Rabies Immunization Clinic will take place on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, at the Perinton Department of Public Works. Visit our online scheduling portal to book an appointment.

Those attending the clinic should plan to arrive at their scheduled time and remain in their vehicle until asked to exit with the animal. Dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in a sturdy pet carrier upon arrival. A copy of a prior rabies vaccination record is required to receive a 3-year rabies vaccination. Without records, a one-year initial vaccination will be provided. All shots are provided at no charge.

Town of Perinton and Village of Fairport dog owners will be able to renew or apply for a dog license, as required by New York State Law.

Special thanks to Perinton Animal Control, Fairport Animal Hospital and Monroe County for their coordination of this event each year.

In 2023, more than 220 dogs and cats were vaccinated, and more than 30 Town of Perinton and Village of Fairport dog owners renewed or applied for a dog license, as required by New York State Law.
