A one-day marriage officiant license is a license, issued by the Town in which the couple getting married received their marriage license.
- The person applying for the one-day license must be at least 18 years old.
In order to obtain a one-day marriage officiant license an appointment is necessary, or if submitting by mail, the application, along with ID must be notarized. The cost is $25 (cash, check payable to Town of Perinton, or credit card with processing fee). We are open for licensing, by appointment, Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (except holidays).
An applicant wishing to obtain a one-day officiant license may do so at the same time the persons getting married are obtaining their marriage license or afterwards. The officiant license cannot be issued prior to this.
The applicant is required to provide one of the following identity-related documents:
- Driver’s License
- Passport
